Upon your arrival at the Paris-Beauvais Airport, hop into your SIXT rental car and head to the Château d'Auteuil, located just nearby. Spend the first night at this château listed as a historic monument.
Fine, gleaming porcelain, majestic hangings decorating romantic alcoves, golden oak ensuring lovers a warm, relaxed atmosphere... In other words, all the art of French living!!!
Then discover the world of luxury goods manufacturers at the Mother-of-Pearl and Luxury Goods Museum in Méru.
The following day, admire the pomp and splendour of Napoleon III and Empress Eugénie in Compiègne: explore by foot the old town's alleyways, stroll about the flowered park of the Imperial Palace, enjoy the exceptional view awarded by the Trouée des Beaux Monts forest corridor (5 km for hardy walkers)...
